Encrypted at Rest

Chat messages are encrypted at rest in our database. Encryption keys are stored separately from database storage, with access limited to what running the service requires. Connections to Ethyx use HTTPS. Protect your account with an authenticator app (TOTP) or email verification codes at sign-in, manage factors from Security settings, and use recovery codes when you need a backup. Optional trusted devices reduce friction on devices you own.

What providers see

To answer your prompts, upstream AI providers receive the text you send over HTTPS. Ethyx encrypts chat history at rest and replaces your name, email, and attachment filenames with reversible pseudonyms before provider requests when obfuscation is enabled—that protects stored data and limits identity leakage, not live inference at the provider.

Connected to your tools

Connect Google Drive and Google Calendar from Account Integrations after sign-in. Import files into your Ethyx uploads, export chat artifacts, PDFs, images, and plain-text outputs to a folder you pick, and send checklist items to your calendar—Ethyx only creates events you ask for, never edits or deletes existing ones. More cloud providers are planned.

Skills and checklist mode shape how answers are structured—not tone or length. Break tasks into checklists you can check off in chat, or attach format skills when you want timelines or step-by-step layouts. Come back later and a "While you were away" recap shows where you left off.

Grounded Search (Perplexity)

Use Perplexity Sonar and Sonar Pro in chat alongside OpenAI, Anthropic, and other models. Tune search speed per turn (quick, balanced, expert) and use external search tools where configured—grounded answers without leaving the conversation. Available after sign-in.

Image generation

Switch the chat composer to Image mode and generate with Grok Imagine (xAI) and GPT Image 2 (OpenAI). Attach reference images, browse outputs in your generated-images library, and download results—included with your Ethyx subscription. Available after sign-in.
